He is pursuing his third Master\u2019s degree in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security Program at the Luiss School of Government, Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy. He previously completed a second Master&#8217;s at the Institute of Middle Eastern Studies and Muslim World at Marmara University in Istanbul. Khechib obtained his first Master in Asian Studies and IR at Algiers 3 University. Additionally, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Asian Studies and IR at Algiers 3 University, on the verge of defending his dissertation. <br \/>Khechib is originally from Algeria and has accumulated nine years of experience in study and academic work in Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye, along with one year in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has recently begun a new academic journey in Rome, Italy. Throughout his career, Khechib has collaborated with various research centers, and since December 2019, he has worked as a Research Fellow at the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA), affiliated with Istanbul Zaim University in T\u00fcrkiye.<br \/>His primary research interests encompass geopolitics, international relations theory, great power politics, and the changes in the international system\/order. He is particularly focused on the geopolitics of the MENA and Mediterranean regions, Eurasia, the South China Sea, and the foreign policies of the United States, Turkey, and Algeria.<br \/>He is the author of many books, studies, translations, and academic summaries published in Arabic and English. His books include: \u201cThe Impact of Islamic Movements on the Democratic Transition in Malaysia: Islamizing Democracy or Democratizing Islam?\u201d (2024), \u201cThe Struggle for Free Will: Turkish Foreign Policy in a Changing International System (1923-2017)\u201d (Second Ed 2024), \u201cThe Liberal International Order: Rise or Fall? John Ikenberry VS John Mearsheimer\u201d (2021), \u201cThe Prospects for Democratic Transition in Russia, a Critical Study for Structures and Challenges\u201d, (2015).<br \/>Khechib is a native Arabic speaker and conducts his research in Arabic, English, French, and Turkish.
